Sanarentero is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to contribute to the formulation development of drugs and biologics for prevention of chemotherapy-induced side effects. Applicants interested in a full-time or part-time position can apply.  It is a one-year appointment, subjected to renewal based on performance and availability of funds. Expected start date Dec 1st, 2022.

 

Job responsibilities includes

• Designs and conducts research experiments

• Optimize processes and parameters for formulation development

• Characterize the formulation including drug analysis

• Prepare batches for preclinical evaluation

• Develop protocols, standard operating procedures, and product specifications.

• Perform experimental data analysis and report generation for submission to funding and regulatory authorities. 

• Oversee the maintenance of lab equipment and the lab environment and day-to-day lab operations. 

• Assist in preparing grant proposals and presenting research results including manuscripts, posters, and presentations at national and international conferences.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in pharmacy with training in formulation development, HPLC/UPLC/LCMS analysis, proficiency in the use of Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).

 

Preferred Qualifications:  Ph.D. degree in chemistry/biology/pharmacy/biochemistry /biomedical engineering or related science with 0-1 year of experience in scientific or experimental research work.
